Sorry, S and Lonely Boy. Of all the Upper East Side entanglements, it's the unholy union of Chuck and Blair that's really got Gossip Girl on her Twittering toes. "They are true equals," says exec producer Stephanie Savage. "They're both master manipulators and snappy dressers." Savage credits the allure of the dysfunctional duo - a teen Taylor and Burton who barter for sexual favors and bicker over using the L-word - to the off-the-charts chemistry between Leighton Meester and Ed Westwick. "They bring so many layers to their performances that [we] want to go further with the writing to see what they can do." So far, they've done a lot (their limo hookup still has our rearview mirror fogged), but according to Savage, we ain't seen nothing yet. "Chuck and Blair's relationship is about to be tested more than ever...it goes to a pretty dark place." Oh, yeah, you know we love it!
